This approach led to the identification of interferon activated dermal fibroblasts uniquely in Sweet’s that promote neutrophil recruitment. 💡This finding suggests that JAK inhibitors, which block interferon signaling, could be repurposed to treat Sweet’s.

Here we explored the pathogenesis of Sweet’s syndrome, a rare human neutrophilic dermatosis using bulk, single-nucleus, and sub-cellular resolution #spatialtranscriptomics on archived clinical skin biopsies from patients with neutrophilic dermatoses.
