Musk's claims are all coming undone: - Robotaxis everywhere by 2025 - AGI by 2025 - Optimus robots would be autonomous. - Optimus would be sent to Mars by Starship in 2026 - DOGE would save $ 2 trillion Hype = lies. Accelerationism is dying.
In May, Musk claimed there would be thousands of Tesla Robotaxis in Austin "within a few months". He has less than 30, all of which are supervised by a Tesla employee sitting in the front seat.

Playgrounds at the airport! @SecKennedy, @paulsaladinomd, and I know that itās not easy traveling with kids- and the baggage of ENERGY they carry. Thatās why we want to give them a place to play before boarding a plane. Itās part of Making Travel Family Friendly Againš”āļø

Read to the end. NPR asked why the Trump team ended a low-cost program that cured millions of tropical diseases w drugs donated by pharma. The spokesperson replied with an NPR headlineāāFarewell to USAIDāāand said: āWhat do you think farewell meant?ā

The campaign to prevent and treat these diseases has seen great success thanks to a USAID program. Now that program is gone.

Assumed this meant Sora would have a private training set for Disney, but apparently it will let people make Disney content with some getting selected to show on Disney+ While Iām sure there will be a lot of weird backlash about AI art - I do think it will be cool to let kids
Disney and OpenAI sign a deal to bring more than 200 Disney characters to Sora Disney makes $1 billion investment in OpenAI and is set to become a "major" OpenAI customer https://t.co/q4eLsSStPi

They're always pro-housing, just not *this* housing project. Or that one. Or that one.
Should San Francisco allow a 25 story apartment tower to be built on top of the Marina Safeway? Probably not. I'm as YIMBY as they come. But 25 stories in a neighborhood where everything is 3 to 4 stories seems excessive. š§µ

They just say things. As if single payer or full-access hybridized systems don't perform better in almost all other developed countries in the world.
Single Payer Healthcare doesnāt work and will never work. The purpose of the ACA was to take our nation towards Single Payer Healthcare. The reason why costs are skyrocketing is by the design of Obama and Congressional Democrats who wanted a public option. These are the facts.

The average cost of giving birth without insurance is $18,865. Cancer patients spend an average of $150,000 on treatment. Insurance plans cost $4400 - $14000 per year. Giving people $1,000 per year towards healthcare and saying āgood luck!ā isnāt a healthcare solution.
Democrats' plan continues to send your money to health insurance companies and doesnāt lower health care costs. Ā Under our plan, we give you a Health Savings Account so you can shop for the best deal. It trusts the PATIENT to be in CHARGE of her care, lowering her costs!

The Republican plan to give money directly to consumers won't matter if (1) the amount is insufficient, (2) many can't get insurance because of pre-existing conditions, and (3) others have hit their lifetime spending cap. THOSE are the real death panels.
Today, we'll vote on two health care plans: Ā (1) Democrats' plan, which sends money to insurance companies & pads their profits (2) Republicans' plan, which will send money directly to the PATIENT to cover their care and LOWER costs Ā Which vision do you want?

The idea quite literally stinks.
Gyms are coming to airports⦠I had the privilege of spending time with @SecKennedy and @SecDuffy as the DOT announced a new initiative to bring gyms into U.S. airports. This is a $1B grant program that airports across the country can apply for to build real spaces for people
