There is some *limited* evidence that auricular (ear) acupuncture may help with this (PMID 35003502). This may be mediated by a vagal mechanism. We need more research here but risks vs potential benefits seem compelling for those concerned.

Wasn't it just a few months ago you claimed this was a right-wing conspiracy theory, @nypost? Seed oils lead to increases in levels of oxylipins linked with obesity in both human and animal studies (PMIDs: 28970503, 34293124, 25240692) https://t.co/NcD644xExY

A new study suggests that soybean oil may play a direct role in promoting obesity, and the effect appears tied to how the body processes one of its main components.

This past thanksgiving I learned a valuable lesson: Turkey is overrated. I made a 2.5 lb grass-fed Denver steak from a local farm and it was the hit of the evening. No one wanted turkey when they could eat red meat. I think this is just built into our brains as humans.

$6 per lb grass fed ground beef is overpriced? No way. The processed foods you are buying are far more expensive than meat on a per nutrient basis and when you consider the long term loss of quality of life (and medical bills) they lead to.

I fear that as AI becomes more and more powerful, we are headed further away from enough real human contact. Rebel. Robots and LLMs won't ever fill your need for human connection.
