The perfect indoor activity for a cold wet blustery day, filling in your NUI Seanad ballot paper. Perhaps followed by a brisk outdoor stroll to the postbox! Ballots must arrive by post to NUI offices by next Wed morning Jan 29th so post soon! And Vote Alice-Mary Higgins No.1 !.
If you have an NUI vote, make sure to use it! Step ONE is find your ballot paper! Is it on a hall table, in a kitchen drawer, behind some christmas cards or maybe even at an old address? Once you find it then there are just three more steps to having your say in the Seanad.

Actually the EU should probably be doing the exact opposite & refusing to import any fossil fuels from any country, like the US, that exits the Paris Agreement. Very poor from the EU Commissioner for "core values".
NEW: Ireland's EU Commissioner @EUCssrMcGrath suggests the EU will bring forward proposals to buy more US oil and LNG as a way of building relations with the new Trump administration.

If you haven't received your ballot paper or you have moved to a new address- you can write to records@nui.ie and request that it be re-sent out to your current address- but the last day for re-issue of ballots is Jan 22nd so act fast !.
