As someone who is working on gentle parenting, it's not parenting without consequences. It's parenting without hitting or yelling and trying to make sure your child feels like a person. What alot of people are calling gentle parenting is just neglecting their duties as parents.
@SlimWyldNReklez
Where are all the people who just want to go roller skating on the roof of the whitehouse or something? Can’t we just go steal all the spoons from our nemesis & maybe take all their Tupperware lids? Like how much crime do people need to crime? What happened to shenanigans?

Our daughter has a room at my parents house and it makes her feel so special. She loves going in there to see what Gigi has done since she was last in there!
@keziamw
I know we don’t know each other, but I have been thinking about you a lot since that happened and I am so glad that he was found. I hope it brings you at least a little bit of peace.
@TheRealChanee
While I hear you, I don't know if my mind will allow me not to. My grandmother may have broken me with the clean house for the New Year routine.
@MISTERSTRAWJ
@soulaaangel
You can do that. It doesn’t really always work though and your kids will most likely resent you for it. It’s all about choices. Parenting is a lot of trial and error.
@matchacappux
I waitressed in this tiny French restaurant when I first moved into the city part time and I LOVED that job. Everyone who came in there was awesome and I got to talk to so many great people. If it paid well I would have loved to make it a longer term thing.

Because they couldn't pretend like she wasn't shot anymore. No one would believe them if they said she shot herself, so enter the imaginary boogyman.

@dabiggbaee
I have to disagree here. When I moved back in with my parents after college it was to save money to be ready to be out on my own after some time. How can young people do that if they are paying rent to their parents?
@muzicbabee
@soulaaangel
Thank you! That’s the phrase I was looking for earlier. It’s not neglect per se, it’s just that some don’t put in the effort. I think that’s what a lot of teachers are dealing with right now.
@moneyymaya
Her responding like that makes me think she takes part in setting single women up to get robbed. I hope not, but that's where my mind is going.

@jstTECHcharge
The best way to encourage that person would have been to tell them that they were worth more instead of letting the company lose them in six months when they find out on their own. But talking about it on Twitter is better I guess.
@lmTheReasonWhy
She's right. I had a hairstylist that I loved in the past, but she was always late to appointments. The ONE time I was stuck in traffic and called her to let her know I would be 10 min late she threatened me with a late fee and possible cancelation. It was my last appointment.
@TheSCRamblings
@soulaaangel
Listen. I’m no parenting expert. Our daughter has tried us. At the same time she HATED timeout. We only ever needed two min of that before she wanted out of the chair. A lot of times though we as parents need the timeout because most of the time we are the ones frustrated.
@notdanilu
My cousin had a cookout after not really doing much during COVID and the deer were standing in the backyard looking at us like what are all these people doing in our yard!
@BIGPIKLIZ
You can tell she gets them to put the baby on the phone. My mom would always want to be sure our baby could at least recognize her voice when she couldn’t visit.
@bossnayamoss
And she’s still defending this saying she was trying to encourage people. This is not how you do that! That extra money could have possibly been life changing and she didn’t have the bandwidth to help, but was quick to run to Twitter about it.

@moneyymaya
People are the worst sometimes. I cried for days when our dog died. We even had a funeral for him to help our little one process it and I still think about him all the time even after two years. Pets are family.
@TheSCRamblings
@soulaaangel
Once everyone is calmed down, then you can usually start the conversation again and everyone can get what they want. Most of the time children just want to be heard, and kids need a way to express all those big new feelings they are having.
@MISTERSTRAWJ
@soulaaangel
I said you do you. I’m just trying to do what my parents and not yell. It can be done, or not, your choice. Those are your children.

If someone else shot her Tory would have been on the stand shouting it to whoever would listen, but instead he tried to have his attorneys call her a hoe and a liar like people were going to fall for the distraction.
@L8NYTEjr
Trust and believe if someone our daughter is in a relationship with puts their hands on her they will be seeing me, her daddy and the left and right sides of our whole family. I don't play about my child just like my parents wouldn't have played about me.
@LenValyrian
I can’t imagine having that much stress as a young person. I worry they will be burned out by the time they hit my age and there is still so much life ahead of them. This is a form of abuse and those arguing that they HAVE to help their families need to have a seat.
@Oluwachristabel
@xogabbyelle_
He saw a pretty girl and confirmed she was out of his league. And you can tell she was serious about the chase me thing being a joke, she's still laughing at it, and I love that.

@midwestbarbiee
I don't think it's talked about enough how she didn't want any of this. He dragged her name through the mud, calling her a liar, trying to silence her when she was already choosing not to speak on it because he wanted to control, dominate and abuse her further.

“Well, 90k is a great salary, but we budgeted for 130k, so I’m going to say you asked for it. We want you to know how valuable you are which is why we hired you & want to keep you happy long term.” Done. 30 seconds or less.
And they would have been extremely loyal for that.

You managed to hear about all the things that made it “a lie” but not about the police reports dropping? I guess that’s why the attacker felt so comfortable he went on a podcast and confessed. He knew people like you don’t care about the truth.
@Brittany_Geneva
I found pieces I liked before, but never could get them in the beginning so I honestly just stopped trying. Hate to see that it isn’t going well because I would have kept up more with the brand if I knew I even had a chance to pick items up.
