Thanks to APPG member @switherdenMP for raising the Local Housing Allowance freeze & its impact on survivors of domestic abuse. Just 1 in every 100 homes for rent in Wales is affordable on LHA. Thanks to @jessphillips for her reply.

In her contribution @PaulaBarkerMP spoke about how the freezing of housing benefits is making many homes in her area unaffordable for those in need. The Chancellor must restore the link between housing benefits and the real cost of renting.

@BobBlackman @natfednews .@BobBlackman talks about how we can better use land so local govt can work with communities to decide the homes to build, including social rent homes. He makes clear housing must be a priority for all political parties and calls for Govt's homelessness strategy to be published

Our co-chair @BobBlackman is speaking at @natfednews event #CPC25 on affordable and social housing. Great to hear him make a passionate case for building new homes, that people can live, work and thrive in. That must include 90,000 social homes a year if we're to #endhomelessness
