This a great response from @IASW_IRL and @SW4PalestineSCW .Disappointing but not surprising from @IFSW showing how far social work has fallen as a profession. Social work was always meant to be about social change and justice, not playing politics and PR.

I was discriminated by my college. The disability support service didn’t support me when I went to them. A 364% increase in people registered doesn’t mean a 364% decrease in discrimination.

Have been on the waiting list for the community physio since May 2024. I was initially told I was 18 months down the waiting list. I’ve just been updated and told it’ll be at least 12 more months. But Ireland is the second richest country in the EU so I shouldn’t complain 🙃.

If your job is paying you less than the dole, you’re not an employee you’re a slave. Weekly pay on minimum wage is €526.50.Jobseekers is less than half of that. If you really think you’d be better off you should go on the dole.

How are people defending FG here and talking about magic money trees for Paul Murphy wanting to tax big tech the tiniest bit. The leader of the same party defending the tv licence has said we should increase funding on defence by 150 billion.
Unbelievable. If you hate the unjust TV Licence, it's really worth 5min to watch this incredible interaction with the Minister responsible. Less than a year ago, the Oireachtas' Media Committee even recommended scrapping this regressive tax, that only 43% of households pay!
