🚨 Lack of opportunities for reflective supervision for social workers during Covid-19 was regularly brought to our attention by BASW members. Part of our evidence session today was making this point to the Inquiry and outlining its importance in the context of the pandemic.

🚩 Our evidence flags up concerns we had during the pandemic that changes to emergency legislation risked undermining children's rights and failed to put their welfare and best interests first. We're pleased that the Inquiry took our comments on board in their deliberations.
