What I've been saying. I know folks wish it weren't so, but 70 years of history make it clear. Talk to someone from Hong Kong if you don't get it, or a Tibetan or a Uighur if you can find one free and alive. We owe it to those people to be honest w. ourselves about the CCP.
The CCP lies, and makes empty promises. We have to recognize this pattern, and enact consequences if we want to change bad behavior. Appeasement and "dialogue" for dialogue's sake won't work.
