hopefully you are onto this.
Scott Adams is a Trump supporter.
That means that a lot of people will tune him out - just for that.
Don't. It would be a mistake.
He's got some really valuable ideas to share.
Please listen to Masih Alinejad. She is the voice of some of the bravest women alive on the planet today.
Their cries for freedom from oppression deserve to be heard.

I never thought I would say this about a British royal. But... wow
Respect to Prince Harry. The capacity to be vulnerable. To speak openly and with authenticity - in front of the world. That's very difficult for most people.
For a Windsor family, it's extraordinary.
Part of twitter is a noisy rabble.
People shouting and yelling at each other.
Eyes probably bulging.
But another part is university seminar.
With each contribution more intelligent than the next.
That is where I choose to hang out.
My friend Mohnish Pabrai just shared this letter he received from Warren Buffett.

who was born in India, and lives in Canada - via the UK and other places.
He was a heart doctor. Now is a venture vapitalist.
Charlie Munger’s talk on the 24 Standard Causes of Human Misjudgments was transformational.
I’m deeply grateful for everything he taught me.
Sending my condolences to the Munger family and his friends and devotees including Mohnish, Li Lu, Chris, Doerthe and Warren.
I hope that everyone here will join me in praying for the ordinary women of Afghanistan - whose basic human rights are in the midst of being shredded.
Along with
@AlinejadMasih
@HillelNeuer
@queenchristina_
and others, I'm on their side.
“We do not count because we were born in Afghanistan . . . We’ll die slowly in history.” I am heartbroken. The women & girls of Afghanistan have been abandoned. What of their dreams, hopes? The rights they have fought two decades for?

I'd like to report this post for spreading hateful memes that are completely untrue.
What's worse, is that it is calculated to inflame Muslims and incites hatred against Jews and the IDF.
It's the very paragon of antisemitism and incitement to antisemitism.…
I'm looking for examples of CEO's and companies who chose to do the right thing - even when the P&L did not benefit. Like the story of James Burke of $JNJ and Tylenol - or when Larry Merlo stopped selling tobacco at $CVS

Christina Patterson is the best-selling author of The Art of Not Falling Apart.
She also writes for the Telegraph, the Times, the Guardian and the Independent.
I feel lucky to have been a guest on her podcast.
Christina did her research - she had carefully read my book and asked questions about key moments in my life - including the Global Financial crisis and my time being a Gordon Gekko wannabe.

I'm looking to hire an experienced and capable Indian financial journalist.
You would conduct a series of interviews with selected business leaders in India.
What is the Future of Intelligent (or Value) Investing?
- Study the Future, Not the Past.
- Study Businesses, not Stocks.
- Look for companies that create value for all stakeholders.
- Look for new, transformative business models

Here is Stanley Druckenmiller talking about short selling.
He makes the confession that over his 40 years in the market he can't say that, in aggregate, he made money in his short positions.
That is astounding. But not surprising.

Porinju: a 4-year-old killed by dogs is horrific.
But dog activists are not your enemy.
The Borgen Project advocates:
Capture.
Neuter.
Vaccinate.
Release.
Should be possible to build a consensus around that idea.
My initial impressions from the $BRKA letter:
- $25 billion buying back 5% of Berkshire's outstanding shares - 5% of the company.
That's a lot. Also:
- no more Wells Fargo
- no discussion of Bitcoin
- no discussion of $GME

Bill Ackman’s $PSH Pershing Square Holdings letter to investors has a line I really liked:

Crypto should be shining right now. But it isn’t.

All currencies eventually go to zero (including $, £, €, and BTC)
Only thing that holds or increases in value long term is productive assets.
So we should only hold currency temporarily - as a means of exchange. Not as a long term store of value, or investment.
This is an amazing compilation of Charlie Munger talking about the Buffett system on zero management fees.
But I think that I want to start calling it the Pabrai system. Charlie Munger does.

Why?
Consensus-based decision making in my opinion.
What's my point?
Sometimes consensus is the best.
Sometimes it isn't. When it comes to vaccinations, it isn't.
