Very true from @billybinion. On trade, for instance, @JMilei sides with Adam Smith while Trump sides with Herbert Hoover.

I continue to be baffled by this argument. Trump is a protectionist, old-school Democrat who spends like a drunken sailor. Milei believes in free trade, free markets, and has radically cut spending. They are, in many ways, complete opposites.

The Heritage Foundation is, as its erstwhile hero Milton Friedman would say, free to choose to go in this direction, and all of Heritage’s donors, supporters and allies are free to choose whether they still want to hold Heritage in high regard. https://t.co/RnjJTNT6TX

This is not an apology, at all. He doesn't take back anything he said. He doesn't criticize Tucker Carlson. He just says he was misunderstood while reiterating all the same nonsense about cancel culture, which is a total red herring.

How bitterly ironic that @KevinRobertsTX champions @TuckerCarlson who traffics in the antisemitism @Heritage’s Project Esther sought to confront while Roberts decries as a “venomous coalition” those daring to speak out about the dangers posed by Tucker’s propaganda machine.
