A thorough explanation of why Mamdani's ending of K-3 gifted programs will hurt Black, Hispanic, and immigrant children more than any other group (while hurting everyone.) Mamdani did not go through the K-8 NYC public education system -- he went to the Bank Street College of

A lot of people think that Zohran Mamdani’s plan to phase out gifted programs for NYC kindergartners is harmless. As an alum of those programs — I disagree.

It says nothing good about the state of the country that both Ben Shapiro and Bari Weiss have security details.

Bari Weiss has been so vocal in her support of Israel that she faces frequent death threats. She and her wife, The Free Press co-founder Nellie Bowles, require a detail of five bodyguards that costs the studio $10,000-$15,000 a day. There has also been a noticeable step-up in

Mamdani is an idiot communist who may hopefully grow out of his fantasyland economics. Jay Jones is a father who fantasized about the violent homicide of the children of a colleague he knew personally. I can excuse stupidity, but actual bloodlust is petrifying.

Watching the responses to the elections yesterday and my friends on the right are very blackpill on the Jay Jones victory. Substantially more than Mamdani's win.

The GOP should preserve the filibuster. The filibuster prevented Democrats from passing cap & trade, single-payer healthcare, forced unionization, statehood for DC and Puerto Rico and packing the Supreme Court. Schumer is baiting Republicans to end the filibuster with this

No, I don’t hate old people in fact, I aspire to be one and I’d like Social Security to still exist. However, that does not mean math doesn't exist: at this rate, Social Security runs out in 2034 and, if we're to do nothing, everyone gets a 25% cut. We can fix it the same way

Kaine beat Cao by 9 points in Virginia in 2024, when the House generic ballot was around R+3. Virginia's statewide election was 12 points to the left of the nation. In this comparison, Spanberger would have to win by 12 points to suggest a TIED National environment, and by 15

Paul Dans was the exec Kevin Roberts threw under the bus to blame for Project 2025. It’s possible this podcast was recorded before Kevin’s meltdown, but it sure seems like Tucker is rewarding Kevin’s public fealty to him by boosting Kevin’s most vengeful scapegoat/victim. Yikes.

This should not be controversial. Virginia and New Jersey were both ~D+6 on the presidential margin, which made them ~D+8 on the nation last year. Spanberger winning by less than double digits has to be considered a fairly weak result given those parameters. Same for Sherrill.

This is getting a lot of hate but it's just objectively correct. Virginia is ~7 points more Democratic than the nation. Anything less than a D+10 win for Spanberger, given the D+3 generic ballot today, is a fairly mediocre result given the environment.

To reiterate, the enhanced Obamacare subsidies are just another generational wealth transfer, but unlike Social Security, which at least purports to favor retirees who have worked longer, ACA subsidies DISPROPORTIONATELY go to *early retirees* & the childless

Striking how Obamacare is not much of a program for families with children, and it is mostly a program for singles or couples 50 and above.

Obamacare has mostly just became a backdoor to lower the Medicare age to 50 via heavy subsidies that Democrats bet will be too politically painful to end.
