None as vile an insult to auto racing as a GM factory team!
F1 has rejected Andretti in the most emphatic terms. Doubts it would be competitive, customer engine would damage F1's 'prestige and standing', dismisses significance of Andretti name, would have no material commercial value, and would not add value to F1.

As a reminder, four drivers who started the 2024 Indianapolis 500 ran for the overall win at Le Mans this year. That won’t be possible in 2025 because of this date clash.
