The Effect of Republican Policies Masked ICE officers driving in unmarked SUVs ramming cars. Deregulated coal plants making us breathe in more cancer-causing pollution. Lower Mile Per Gallon vehicle standards making us breathe in more cancer-causing pollution.

The value destruction going on at the Washington Post today is beyond comprehension. These people trained their entire lives to be the best in the profession and an arrogant, clueless management team has just chosen to incinerate their contributions to the world and the business.

@elonmusk If we wanted to maximize happiness, wouldn't this imply that we should redistribute wealth from billionaires, for whom money makes little difference, to poor and sick people, for whom such resources could save lives? Such as in the form of humanitarian aid in poor countries?

ICE has been holding a disabled double amputee named Rodney Taylor in a camp for a year. He’s been in the US since he was two years old. It’s all he knows. When they detained him, they denied him access to new prosthetic legs. His health is declining.

When Jeff Bezos bought WaPo, he immediately took control of the opinions section. Now, he's laying off hundreds of journalists, including those covering Amazon. This isn’t a coincidence. It’s the result of billionaires with vested political agendas taking over our media.

Striking from new Quinnipiac poll: *Voters prefer legalization over deportations for most undocs by 59-34. Among independents 61-33 *Majority says Trump on immigration is making USA less safe Again, there's broad rejection of the whole project, not just ICE tactics (see below)
Vast camps are central to Trumpism. Miller has long been very excited about them. Backlash is another sign that opposition to Trump/Miller runs deeper than revulsion at ICE. There's resistance to the whole ideological project of mass deportations. 4/ https://t.co/QvjUTwWrPp

Ted Cruz smearing an ethnic group by naming a hearing "Somali Scammers." The bigotry of Trump and Vance isn't the only Republican bigotry.
a Republican witness in the GOP's "Somali Scammers" hearing details how he drives by childcare centers and looks at how many footprints in the snow there are to determine how many kids are there. Psycho stuff.

If Jeff Bezos could afford to spend $75 million on the Melania movie & $500 million for a yacht to sail off to his $55 million wedding to give his wife a $5 million ring, please don't tell me he needed to fire one-third of the Washington Post staff. Democracy dies in oligarchy.

The cause of Israel is so toxic that their money groups have to use pseudonyms and make ads about anything but Israel
AIPAC cash has popped up in the race to replace Robin Kelly in IL-02. The "Affordable Chicago Now" SuperPAC just organized a week ago & hasn't identified any of its donors. The PAC is supporting Donna Miller, whose donors are primarily AIPAC donors. From Robert Peters' campaign:

I know there are some on here who think this won't happen, or that acknowledging the threat is voter suppression or something, but personally I would take this seriously https://t.co/dOnpoV1RXh

Jeff Bezos fired a third of Washington Post's staff & will replace 600,000 Amazon workers with robots. He became $40 billion richer since Trump was elected. His tax rate is 1.1%. Amazon got a $15.7 billion tax break from Trump last year. How much butter does Bezos need, Matt?
@zachdcarter @sarahmillerdc If you want billionaires to support money-losing local newspapers then I think you are in fact going to need to butter them up quite a bit.
