Con Ed is trying to raise electricity and gas bills by 18% for working New Yorkers - all while reporting major profits. I sent a letter today with my colleagues urging the Public Service Commission to stand up for our constituents and deny Con Ed’s rate hike.

I am heartbroken to learn about the killing of our constituent, Kevin Mares. He was a lifelong E. Elmhurst resident with a bright future ahead of him. I am in touch with PR authorities and value their efforts to help bring Kevin home to rest.

After meeting with local vendors and business owners, my office reached out to @NYCSanitation about the need for more trash cans along Roosevelt Ave. Thanks to their quick response, 51 trash cans were installed! Grateful for their partnership in keeping our community clean!
