There are many things a nurse can do that a doctor can’t There are many things a physio can do that a doctor can’t There is nothing a PA can do that a doctor can’t In a well-run NHS, without bottlenecks and with enough training posts, the role need not exist #RCPEGM

In F2 I needed a QIP, and instead of the usual VTE crap I decided to do something useful. The state of our doctors’ offices had always pissed me off and so I went about improving things, new chairs, more computers, more phones etc. Small things but made a big difference! 😎😎😎

Hi I’m Elisha the F1 Doctor. My jobs today included chasing an MRI scan report from 1997 and staying on hold to the GP for 30 mins to find out more info about a patient only to be told it’s not needed and he can be discharged safely 🙃🤡

Sepsis tea trolley, sepsis lift, sepsis ambulance… all this sepsis yet most DGHs don’t have 7-day (let alone 24 hour) MRI for cauda equina… patient presenting on Friday afternoon might have to wait till Monday for their MRI… potentially debilitating… deeply unserious country

It is high time for doctors to realise that the NHS, as currently constituted, is the absolute enemy. A corrupt and exploitative employer, led by talentless, over-promoted goons who couldn’t run a chip shop. The founding principles of the NHS are worth defending, the NHS is NOT!
