A Guard does a lot more than sit and drink tea😝We operate the doors, we are PTS trained, we can secure the train, get down on the tracks, we are there for passenger safety, we are there for passengers needing assistance and work as a team with our drivers to get you from A-B🚂

I never want to hear about how traincrew and staff are overpaid and a waste. De-staffing will never be the answer. We are trained, at all different grades, for the safety of our passengers and that will always be our priority. The last two days demonstrate this

We are currently responding to an incident on a train to Huntingdon where multiple people have been stabbed. Officers are in attendance alongside @CambsCops and two people have been arrested. Further updates will be shared here.
