The last time I adopted a dog from a family who had abused her, she didn't even look back when we left together. I dropped her off to be groomed since she was filthy. When I returned, they told me she had cried for me. Pets know when someone cares.

I believe in being proactive. I notify the police when I see the law being ignored, especially when it's a matter of safety. I've made it a habit of speaking at city council meetings. I've always been effective. Use the phrase, being put on notice. Try it. It works. 😉

I’m retired with a full, secure pension. I don’t sit and do nothing all day. Neither do other retirees I know. People would be shocked how much you can do, if you don’t have to go to work.

I taught my high school students to give themselves permission to goof off when school work was done. I modeled this behavior by not giving homework Fri-Sun or holidays, and doing none myself.
take time off completely. it’s one of the best things you can do for yourself and it normalizes it for other people also.

Dogs know. I rescued a lovely Brittany from a home where she was used to make money from selling her puppies. When we left the home, she didn't even look back at the family. Took her for grooming, they told me she cried when I dropped her off. So happy when I returned. They know.
This dog knew she’d be OK the second she met her new dad…and her transformation proved she was right ♥️

I just got the Moderna. There were over 150 no-shows to an LA City employee clinic, and they needed to use the vaccine instead of throwing it away. The misinformation is tragedy. There’s no danger. Get your vaccine. Please. Stop this fucking virus. It will mutate and get worse.
