Here is my prediction - I think the Fed funds rate will be cut by about 1% this year - 4 x 0.25 at a time - I think they will panic and will suddenly move down - they will drag other central banks with them - soon enough you will see QE which is not called QE being talked about.

Imagine the incompetence of Sunak who didn't lock in any of the low interest rates.
In 2020, the UK government only had to pay 0.6% on 30 yr gilts. Today it has to pay 5.5%. Imagine your mortgage costs went up 9X and so you had to keep borrowing more just to pay the higher interest. Unlikely to end well.

74 . May as well just admit that there is no state pension. Getting beyond a joke. Doesn't fix anything by the way. The end result will be millions turning up on welfare. It's an accounting sham.
Government launching a review on pensions Age threshold may be lifted to 74. IMHO manual & blue collar workers should be left to retire at 66. The rest of us who enjoy the fruits of working from home or sit behind a desk should NOT draw pension benefits until 74 years of age!.
