Another reason why was IPC guidance for healthcare *never changed back* to airborne following HCID declassification?. Imagine being a teacher, or a police officer. Would you not want the same?. Now, think what that *really means* for HMG re workplace safety . @karamballes.
@barryjmjones One reason put forward as to why the guidance was never changed to recommend wider use of FFP3s was because members of the IPC Cell thought it might give the impression they’d got it wrong initially…. Were the IPC Cell more concerned with saving face than protecting NHS staff?

🚨Harries also just said she would try to ‘sense check’ hospital IPC guidance *to see what impacts any changes might have in other settings LIKE EDUCATION*. 🤔. Did IPC Cell/UKHSA ever avoid strengthening NHS IPC guidance because they didn’t like the implications elsewhere. ?.
