Two lab leaks causing mass infections have been reported in two months: a lab leak causing African swine fever virus infections in Spain, and a lab leak causing Newcastle disease virus infections in China. Virology labs leak like sieves. This madness needs to end.

In Parliament, I responded to questions about our country’s position regarding Euroclear. Many false insinuations are being spread to put pressure on us, but our conditions are reasonable and constructive. We are not going to burden ourselves with irresponsible risks.

A Swiss study found that sharing classrooms drives viral transmission significantly more than brief close contact. Consequently, improving ventilation is likely more effective than solely reducing proximity. https://t.co/z9IGQC3nkL

I do think that training in air quality, respirators and airborne disease transmission should be mandatory for anyone working in a hospital. Knowledge is always the first step and there's no excuse for not providing accurate, truthful and helpful info to staff @wesstreeting 4/

If the #EU forces Belgium to accept the #Euroclear deal, it could be disastrous for our country. In that case, we would be better off leaving. The Belgians are not OK with this. Being pro-Europe ends when kamikaze is required.@vonderleyen @Bart_DeWever

Tell me @NHSEngland, how are you going to prevent disease and protect the health of the population, one of the main reasons of your existence, if you won't even attempt to halt the spread of a new pandemic virus.

New German hospital study found monkeypox DNA (clade Ib) in air samples and HEPA filters. Airborne dispersal of MPXV was shown earlier in UK, Belgium, France & Spain. Knowing that the virus can be exhaled, it strengthens evidence that airborne transmission of mpox is possible.
