🔬 Finishing the week with #EquationsForLife!.The @villunger Group uses Boltzmann’s #entropy equation to study cell death. In 2024, they showed how extra centrosomes delay disease by causing cells to self-destruct in certain models of blood cancer. 🔎

🔬 Midweek #EquationsForLife!.The Unterlass Lab uses the ionic product of water to model #HydrothermalSynthesis. They've used this eco-friendly method to create cyclic organic compounds, valuable in both basic research & drug development. 🔎
