Doesn't matter where I work, or *if* I work. When I was homeless long ago, if I was sick I just went to the doctor. No employer can ever hold health care over my head. And it's like that for my parents, cousins, neighbors, friends. Hell, even my enemies get it. You DESERVE this.

Don't use milk on your eyes if you get sprayed or gassed, use water. The milk thing is a myth. Use lots of water and blink a lot. With pepper spray, bc it's oily, you can also use very dilute "no tears" baby shampoo to break up the oil PLUS lots of water.

I'm in Canada, with single-payer. Here, people give blood voluntarily and don't have to pay for it when they need it. It's not done through the Red Cross, but through an independent, government-funded organization, Canadian Blood Services.
