i spoke recently w/other alt media makers producing media around Cop City abt the ways the AJC/Cox Media & the rest of atlanta’s radio/film/tv industries play a significant role in drowning out independent media to preserve atlanta’s image as “a real wakanda” or “black mecca.”

this is such a monumental and incredibly sad loss. “blueprint” is the perfect word; that book changed everything for me. truly, there’s so much more required of all of us, especially now.
it was @DaShaunLH who intro’d me to Imam Jamil Abdullah al-Amin in undergrad because they wouldn’t be seen without his book ‘Die, Ngger, Die’. i remember when i realized he was still alive but in prison and I immediately understood what that demanded of me. asë to the blueprint.
