Anytime you can move your free agent catcher acquisition 1 month into a multi-year deal to an already logjammed corner outfield full of controllable young players so that Tres Berrera can get regular ABs, you simply gotta do it.
The Cardinals aren’t just considering using Willson Contreras in the outfield. They will be.
Contreras won’t catch much over the next couple of weeks. He’ll be used primarily as a DH and corner outfielder. More soon on

Nobody cares, but I drafted my first ever team in the Main Event on

Andrés Giménez appears to be in a straight platoon (has sat in 3 straight vs. LHP). He is hitting .316 with a 145 wRC+ against them this year while Amed Rosario has an average and slug of .188 vs. LHP this year. Giménez
is also better defensively. What am I missing here?

Did a little bit of research during the All Star Break. I wanted to compare how wins have been distributed amongst pitchers in 2021 versus the last 5 years as well as against 1990-2015. As you can see, wins are shifting away from Starting Pitchers and towards relievers. 👀

My goal for this season is to give a daily snapshot late each night/early morning for reliever streaming options. It is most applicable for daily league managers who can stream daily but I’m hopeful it can be useful for all. Please give me feedback along the way.

Need to find my 2022 Clase…
Been kind of quiet since the season ended. I will probably start researching for the 2021 season around Thanksgiving or when the FA/trade market picks up, but a huge early lean I would have in Draft Champions drafts is Emmanuel Clase for saves. I like him even over Karinchak. 👀

If you’ve found yourself on the “players’ side” throughout the lockout suddenly telling players to “TAKE THE DEAL!”, you’ve been played and are doing exactly what owners want you to do
If we assume the owners’ two main priorities are to not play games until May and to stop at nothing to sway the court of public opinion in their favor throughout negotiations, the last week suddenly makes a lot of sense.
