Cooper Briggs was born today making me a dad for the first time. Mom pushed out this 9 pound 4 oz boy like a champ. Little boy has some got fluid and unwanted air in his chest cavity along with fighting off an unknown infection. Would appreciate the prayers to get this boy out

Update: . Cooper is now breathing on his own with weaning augmentation of added oxygen purity and flow. No longer intubated or sedated. Oxygen augmentation is down to normal breathing air. Was being given extra oxygen at 31%, down to 21% which is what we breathe. Now working.

Second and final update:. We took Cooper home from NICU today. This has been an absolute whirlwind of a groundhog week and I wish I could say we were about to get some sleep - I’ll gladly trade that sleep for having him home in our arms forever. Incredibly grateful to NICU staff

Might have stumbled into the vending business today. Local neighborhood pool has had these machines sitting since 2018 when servicer when MIA. Gave them to me for free and said I can set them up there if I get them working. And there’s money inside. Maybe more to come on this.
