On a separate note ever since we did the math and figured out #TheAcolyte budget was covered in 3 months of subscriptions I've been frustrated by us bringing up the budget. The budget is fine. #SaveTheAcolyte #RenewTheAcolyte
#TheAcolyte is far from perfect, but i've seen far worse shows get a chance to return and improve upon what the first season established. Lower the budget, less BIG special effects spectacle, save money from sets already built, but to just GIVE UP is unacceptable for #StarWars.

It’s depressing to think about the fact that unless there’s already a Black showrunner (Shonda Rhimes, Mara Brock Akil etc.) or the star is also the showrunner (Issa Rae, Quinta Brunson etc.) Black actresses are barely if ever considered to lead TV shows.
