With @CellSignal, we developed antibodies that recognise "remnant ValGly" left on UFM1-conjugates following tryptic digestion. Similar to the remnant ubiquitin "diGly" approach published by @GygiLab

Check out our new #proteomic method to site-specifically quantify UFMylation! We applied the approach to look at human skeletal muscle biopsies from #ALS. A great collaboration with @CellSignal and many others. A little summary below.

A fantastic opportunity!.
Our lab is looking for a postdoc @uwgenome/@UW/@UWISCRM!. We tackle a wide range of biological Qs from cell-specific responses to perturbation to molecular consequences of aging. We also work hard on new #TeamMassSpec methods to scale the # of proteomics samples we can analyze.

Congratulations @garrondodd and team for these exciting results showing accumulation of ECM during metabolic disease has a major impact on insulinās engagement with its receptor in the brain!.
Excited to share our latest research published inĀ Nature, revealing the crucial role of the brain's extracellular matrix in obesity and diabetes. Thanks to @CaitBeddows, @MrEdwardMoh, @UniMelb & our funding partners @nhmrc, @arc_gov_au and @DiabetesAus.

Hi #TeamMassSpec and #proteomics Does anyone know what happened to the Chorus Project Repository? We are trying to access old data but canāt get in contact with the team to confirm login. Original authors only retained processed rather raw data. Thanks
