I see that most answers are for collaborations. Agree on that, but the question was who leads (drives). The airplane cockpit model with pilot, copilot is a good one and possibly the best analogy (AI as autopilot). I do note that the medical doctor was piloting - thx @Vashishtrv.

As we head towards a biomedical big data summer program, I would like to know your thoughts on whether AI in biomedicine will/should be driven by CS/data folks who informally learn biomed or Biomed folks who get into data-science. Fully trained in both is great but uncommon.

Very interesting work with worrying results for India. Indian women are currently hitting menopause around 45, about 5 years earlier than the West. I wonder if compared to past generations, we are aging faster despite a higher avg life expectancy (fewer infection deaths etc).

Given the number of older people on Gabapentin for sciatica type pain, this is a major concern.
