It correlates well with the degree of LV pathology, wedge pressure, poor functional status and survival. Next question -- whether HFpEF therapies (SGLT2i, GLP1RA, and MRA) can improve symptoms and outcomes in these patients?

By simple three clinical parameters (age, BMI and Afib), the HFpEF-ABA prediction can help to better determine the pre-test probability of HFpEF, thus help to select patients for invasive exercise RHC testing. https://t.co/WtXOK4CTVX https://t.co/oKQm7akcOE

I receive frequent referrals from my PH colleagues. Many patients with pulmonary hypertension (group 1, 3 and 4) have shared/overlapped risk factors for HFpEF, and have symptoms disproportionate to their underlying lung/vascular etiologies. How to better diagnose possible

Highlights from this study: 1. Routine resting RHC will miss a significant proportion of HFpEF patients (23-28% in this study). 2. Contemporary HFpEF trial criteria is specific enough to enrich HFpEF cases. However, seems not sensitive enough (exclude up to 83%), particularly

HFpEF is hard to diagnose. How to better diagnose HFpEF? Compared with gold standard exercise RHC, what's the performance of our society diagnostic criteria and contemporary HFpEF trial inclusion criteria? Beautiful study @CircRes. https://t.co/W1AH1VI5aR

Using two independent HFpEF cohorts and a preclinical model, we demonstrated that TET2 mutant CHIP directly promotes HFpEF in a genotype-specific manner by promoting pro-inflammatory pathways, and is independently associated with worse clinical outcomes.
