J1➡️ 3️⃣ months during PGY- 3️⃣
H1➡️ 4️⃣ months Post Residency
Both times my wife(resident) and daughters were in USA without me.
❇️ I became off-cycle
✳️ Couldn't be considered for Chief Resident Post.
✳️ Couldn't Pursue
J-1 visa IMG deserve to visit their homeland without fear of visa issues. Issue visa for entirety of their training!
