Today the @APPGforLondon was formally re-established. We were joined by London MPs and Lords from all parties to elect our new officers and discuss priorities for the year ahead, as we seek to work together to strengthen the capital's voice in Parliament.

London MPs and Peers came together today to discuss the future of transport infrastructure in London. @TfL, @londoncouncils and Peabody outlined the significant economic growth, jobs and new homes the extensions of the DLR and Bakerloo, and the West London Orbital would unlock.

The APPG for London met today to discuss London’s needs from the Spending Review with guest speakers from @londoncouncils, @trustforlondon and @_BusinessLDN We discussed how our boroughs, voluntary sector and businesses play a vital role in driving growth & supporting Londoners

Parliamentarians, boroughs, housing associations, developers and the GLA came together today to discuss the barriers we face to building the new homes Londoners need. It was clear that addressing viability challenges is the most effective way to unlocking new homes in London.

Today we hosted a meeting on SEND Inclusion in London’s Schools. Our expert witnesses made clear there is a lot more that needs to be done at every level to ensure children with SEND get the support they need. Our Members will continue to raise this issue in Parliament.
