As your local MP, I'm fighting to keep Bromley and Biggin Hill safe, green and thriving. I voted against Labour's cruel cuts and tax rises, and I'm standing up for you and your family in Parliament. Sign up for my newsletter 👉 https://t.co/ixoGOLDUAq

I raised a Point of Order, MPs must get the chance to question the police and local government settlements. These decisions shape council budgets and policing priorities. The Govt cannot just slip out a written statement on the last day before Christmas to avoid scrutiny.

Does Keir Starmer have a clue what’s going on in his own government? Jobs numbers, police numbers, teacher numbers…everything is getting worse under Labour. But instead of doing their own jobs, Labour ministers are all competing for his.

Fantastic to have had so many entries from children across Bromley and Biggin Hill for my Christmas card competition. This is definitely one of the hardest decisions I have to make as a Member of Parliament.

This year’s Finance Bill has been published. It is an astonishing 554 pages - and remember this is just what’s changed. No wonder that the Tax Foundation — International Tax Competitiveness Index (ITCI) ranks us only 32nd out of 38 OECD countries for tax-system competitiveness

Rail increase announced for next year! London: 5.8% Rest of Britain: 0.0% Why does this Labour government keep attacking London? Why do they treat us like the nation's cash cow? And why does the Mayor pretend it's fine?

Whilst the rest of Britain enjoys rail fare freezes, Londoners will see an inflation-busting 5.8% rise in tube fares. @ThomasFTurrell spoke to ITV about how Labour's anti-London agenda is hitting lower and middle earners the hardest in their wallets 👇

Extraordinary scenes in parliament right now as we debate Labour’s mandatory digital ID. The Minister refuses to take any interventions from MPs despite having plenty of time. Such an own goal on an issue where there is huge public distrust.

Only Labour would deliver job-destroying budgets ...and then spend taxpayers' money on government-created jobs. It's absurd, but it's Labour.

I write today about the government’s latest bad idea, cooked up by the trade unions: removing the long-accepted caps on awards that can be made by employment tribunals. It will be ruinously expensive for small firms, further incentivise vexatious claims and kill jobs.

Running a small business is *really* hard. You don’t need the government making it worse. Yet that’s exactly what Labour are doing. This #SmallBusinessSaturday, @JamesCleverly and I donned aprons at The Hub at Sparlings Farm to find out for ourselves.

A fantastic visit to @Airbus in Stevenage - a real privilege to meet the brilliant teams driving some of the UK’s most exciting aerospace and space projects. I even had the chance to step into the Mars Yard. A reminder of just how much talent and ambition Britain has to offer.

Labour are introducing Pay-Per-Mile, despite promising us they wouldn't. Enough broken promises - the @Conservatives opposed Sir Sadiq Khan on ULEZ, and we'll do it again on this terrible tax on drivers. Sign our petition to help stop Pay-Per-Mile: https://t.co/twepEV1K5s
