I LOVE this! Very proud!
Our Year 11s @HerewoodeAcad enjoyed a Macbeth film night today to support their GCSE learning! 🎬✨ A great way to revise key scenes and deepen their understanding 👏 @xAimieCrewex

My face often these days. Although that’s not what I wanted to say…Saturday I am going to see Nicola Walker in person, in the theatre on Saturday. I can’t wait. I love her.

Totally agree. Also, it is nice for our students to see us before their mocks, we are reassurance, we are their calm, positive and encouragement.
Lots of assumptions in this thread that these sessions are "cramming". They aren't. Good sessions like this are reminders of techniques and approaches. It's a supportive move from 'bed head' to exam focused. I wish we had them back in '93!

Today is Friday. Today we have sparklers and hotdogs. Me and M have red wine. We have a film. We fall asleep on the sofa.

‘Miss you look cute today’ I said thank you but in all honesty, I feel like I have been dragged through a hedge backwards!

Literacy strategies. I have focused on reading in my role as HoD but now as ASL I am looking at all aspects across school. Anyone fancy giving me tips/advice/help/confidence 🤣 @DavidDidau @engteacherabro2 @FunkyPedagogy @LauraLolder
