I've seen some US labs do this and given this Twitter conversation, I guess it is not a bad idea at all! . So now, anyone in India who does scientific illustrations such as the one shown in the quoted tweet below? @polybiotique, any leads? Would be nice to have a list somewhere. .
@GunnarBlohm Here's a nice example of a figure that I commissioned @mulesome to make to illustrate vagus nerve stimulation. I can't fathom how long something like this would have taken me, and I'm certain that my version would not have been as clear as this.

Was looking for something like duolingo that would help my kid and I learn some Telugu but couldn't find anything. The gamification helps.
All this language fiasco almost every year, and there's still no serious Duolingo like app for Indian regional languages.

The variety packs of workouts they sell probably do more harm than good. People don't understand that progress comes from doing the boring stuff consistently so that you get better at it. Not randomly going between 6 different types of workouts every week.

Cult Fit, from what I hear, has done very well to get people into their gyms but has done very little to help them be consistent. Happy to be corrected, but here's the explanation:.

Not to mention, even if you can afford a gym membership, the training on offer is generally of abysmal quality. People see no changes in their body composition and get discouraged. Very few (including "registered dieticians") give proper nutrition advice.

People are overworked, underpaid, have to deal w/ traffic, pollution, parking issues, overcrowding during peak hrs, sleep and stress issues. Life in India for most is about survival. The privileged amongst us can ask why only 0.3% go to the gym.
Around 24% people in our country are suffering from Obesity. And almost 58% population is on the way to enter the obesity category very soon. BUT only 0.3% population goes to the gym. Why do you think this number is so low? Is it because of gym pricing? Or zeal motivation.
