Got our buy signal this week while $SPX held its trend line off the Covid low, stocks below 20 DMA hit Covid-low washout levels, volume highest since Covid .... we got ourselves a cycle low, folks.
My quant @AstroDegenerate made an $SPX "fear study" that printed buy signals on the lows in 2009, 2011, 2020, 2022, and no false signals. It hasn't printed yet but it's officially percolating as of today's close. For $25k I'll get you into his DMs to talk sample size.

Seen this Elliot Wave pattern many times. When it makes a new high, change the 1 to 4, change 2 to 5, and be bearish.

That ninja trader contest sounds entertaining but what I've always really wanted is the real money trading championship. They used to do contests like that back in the 80s.
The FinTwit Trading Championship. Why doesn't this exist? Real money, broker verified trade logs, all other variables negotiable or it could be multiple divisions for time frame, instrument, etc. This should exist!

Are we seeing flashy hard selloffs and hard spikes lately?
$ES_F $SPY As a reminder, bull markets grind higher and are punctuated by ‘flashy’ hard sell-offs. Bear markets slowly grind lower and are offset with hard spikes. Market turning points exhibit both conditions at once. Until this structure changes, it’s business as usual.

Sadly on point.
I am told that as a state representative this is the moment where I'm supposed to express my heartfelt condolences and then stand in solidarity with those on the other side of the aisle as we condemn political violence and stand unified as one people. But we aren't "one people"

Mayhem knows that everyone who's been wrongly bearish for the past 1500 SPX points is gearing up to be proven right on Sept/Oct seasonality 😂

And just like that Calvin makes up for his last three years of posts 😂🍻 This is phenomenal
What kind of investor are you? This thread will explore every major personality type. Let's start with, "The Growth Chad" You only buy stocks with high sales growth and ROIC ratios. You don't care about valuations. Your returns have been a bazillion percent. You're a genius.

So when Citron says "all roads" lead to PLTR $40, recall the possibility that he's not seeing the road that runs right up his ass 😂

This is the guy who reiterated a $5 price target on PTON in March 2020, after Covid broke out and just before the stock went to $160+ Could be right about PLTR though, I dunno. 🤷♂️
$PLTR Palantir – All Roads Lead to $40. This Time, Databricks. Congratulations to Databricks, one of America’s truly great growth companies, now valued at $100 billion in the private markets. No other company resembles Palantir more closely in product offering and enterprise

Many million Americans will oppose ending an American provoked and escalated war because they (correctly) dislike the president. I say ending war is good.

Always loved the story about Ted Williams taking a 3-2 fastball right down the middle, drawing a walk, and the ump telling the protesting catcher, if it was a strike Teddy would've swung at it 😂
Ted Williams, one of the greatest natural hitters of all time, was retired and giving some tips to the rookies at the Red Sox spring training camp. One of them asked how to tell apart a curveball from a slider when they were coming in. Williams replied "Oh! That's easy. If it's

Reason #311 why tariffs are dumb. In 1986 Subaru bolted these suicide seats onto the Brat pickup to circumvent the 25% tariff on light trucks.

This dynamic pretty well exemplifies every episode of political theater.

Indeed. Trades like this don't come along very often. 🍻
@oceanking75 Big kudos to @AstroDegenerate and @traderboog for finding that capitulation low three months ago for our members. What an epic call!
