It's official. Our first portfolio company POSRocket has been acquired by Foodics. It's biggest competitor in the region. Feels so weird, having been there since the first git commit and now it's part of a bigger story. But honestly feels damn good 😊

Use that $100k to do 5-10 angel investments. Help those founders in their reporting and fund raising, or any way you can be useful.

I’m constantly intrigued by value based pricing when it comes to events in MENA.
People complain that $350 for a 2 day, food inclusive, international speakers event that impacts your career is expensive.
Yet attending an Amro Diab concert for 3 hours is worth $350.

Contrary to popular belief VCs don’t want more exits, but good exits at the right time and value.
If you exit a position at the same entry price in 2-3 years then you are no better than keeping that money in a deposit.
