Yeah, interest alone ….😬 And devalue their credit rating and the interest bill increases due risk margin.But governments are good at cost shifting. For eg, the Minns government is keen to take on Sydneywater balance sheet to maintain their credit rating.Just sayin’ @abcnews

Interesting that the Country Hour played an excerpt from Peter Cullen ( who died almost 20 yrs ago) before the advent of permanent nut plantations. Prof Cullen also conceded late in his professional career that annual crops are prob better suited to Oz climate.🤷♂️ @abcnews
