During 14 yrs of Tory Government, there were 14 Prisons Ministers. The Tories never saw Prisons as a priority and left them to decline over those 14 years Labour inherited an utter mess, and it’ll take more than 18 months to turn that around. Reasonable people recognise that.

The party which cut 20000 police officers thinks of a number and says it will recruit 10000. I do sometimes wonder how stupid they think we all are.
Conservatives will restore law and order. Under Labour, victims are failed, criminals walk free and trust in policing has collapsed. Our Policing Plan will recruit 10,000 officers, triple stop & search, and introduce hotspot patrols. Only Conservatives have the backbone to act.
