Thereās a lot of this performative stupidity on display at present. People who plead *guilty* to violent disorder at their first appearance can be sentenced quickly. People who have *not been convicted* cannot be sentenced. For anything. Because they are still not guilty.
Question to the Crown Prosecution Service and @YvetteCooperMP why,if some involved in violent crimes at the weekend have already been charged,appeared in court and been sentenced can the man who killed the Southport children not be dealt with as quickly.?

A significant part of this is politicians and media - and not just Farage's lot - have spent the last decades nudge-wink blaming immigrants for domestic failures. Can't get a GP appt? Well you know how there are more immigrants now...? Can't get a council house? Well...

You can laugh at how thick this take is (and it is) but it does point to a broader problem. Neighbourhoods *are* changing - eg fewer pubs - and itās all too easy for agitators to say this change is because of immigrants (and not, say, developers turning them into flats).
