Everywhere I go I don't feel a part of the community because I wear a mask. I'm tired of that but will keep masking. Tired of the disjunture between us & everyone else. At most I see 2 or 3 masked in Hobart city but locally noone. So I don't go out much, never to an event. You?

Organ damage at best and death at worst awaits those of us who remain at higher risk/clinically vulnerable. As a #severelyimmunesuppressed person Covid remains a great threat to my health but Covid is a threat to many who are not immune suppressed too. We urgently need to be able
The Chair of @covidinquiryuk Baroness Hallett asked about preparedness and understanding from healthcare professionals of the impact #COVIDใผ19 on people's health as post-viral syndromes common

To all the hospitals bringing back mask mandates in response to COVID outbreaks - thank you for doing the right thing but can we consider being proactive and not reactive? If you keep mandates year round - the outbreaks wonโt happen! Patients deserve care - not covid.

We had to travel abroad for children's vaccines, because of NHS delays/staff confusion. ~ยฃ2k down. We couldn't wait because we were under severe pressure to return our child to school under threat of prosecution (which would have led to both adults losing our jobs).

Both working adults in my clinically vulnerable household thought we were going to lose or be forced to give up our jobs due to covid. We fought and managed to keep them but we were very lucky. Another family member (a CV teacher) lost months of pay due to school-acquired covid.

Economic recovery needs to include everyone, especially those who were hit hardest. By ignoring the needs of Clinically Vulnerable people, we risk leaving an entire community behind, without the support or recognition they deserve. 8/ #CVVoices

"Weโre in a society acting as if Covid-19 doesnโt exist anymore," warns BMA chair, Prof @DrPhilBanfield. Without #MasksInHealthcare, Clinically Vulnerable people are left questioning safety and limiting lives and avoiding essential care. We need action to protect everyone!
3) Can you explain the nature of those questions and anxieties [experienced by CEV people] that remain [to this day] from the BMA's observations? "We are currently in a society that is running as if Covid-19 doesn't exist anymore..." MUST WATCH FULL RESPONSE! 22/

Norovirus is common, highly infectious, can cause serious and unpleasant illness, closes hospital wards especially over winter and is a risk to care homes. A norovirus vaccine, if effective, would be a major step forward. Thank you to those taking part in and running this trial
An innovative #norovirus vaccine #ClinicalTrial will open across the UK over the next 2 weeks. Despite being one of the most common and infectious causes of diarrhoea & vomiting, there aren't yet any licensed vaccines anywhere in the world ๐ Read more โก๏ธ https://t.co/pqz9aqB6L8

Shelagh continues to wear a mask on busy commuter trains. Weโre curious... does she wear a close-fitting FFP2 (N95) or FFP3 (N99) mask? Many Clinically Vulnerable people are still unaware of these masks and may not realise such masks are protective, unlike 'facecoverings'. 2/
