To all the hospitals bringing back mask mandates in response to COVID outbreaks - thank you for doing the right thing but can we consider being proactive and not reactive? If you keep mandates year round - the outbreaks won’t happen! Patients deserve care - not covid.

We had to travel abroad for children's vaccines, because of NHS delays/staff confusion. ~£2k down. We couldn't wait because we were under severe pressure to return our child to school under threat of prosecution (which would have led to both adults losing our jobs).

Both working adults in my clinically vulnerable household thought we were going to lose or be forced to give up our jobs due to covid. We fought and managed to keep them but we were very lucky. Another family member (a CV teacher) lost months of pay due to school-acquired covid.
