Same here, I teach and am a Marine. Republicans are insane to think the underfunded public schools will be able to arm and train teachers to a safe standard.
Besides, Uvlade had tons of trained/armed police on hand...they didn't go in and kids died.

July 4th, the fireworks got too loud. My old girl took off. Found her next day. A strangers family had taken her in. She came running through their yard, they could see how scared she was. They put their dogs away, turned off their music and never lit off their fireworks.

I've coached youth soccer & football. Start of each season laid out rules for parents
1) cheer for your kid, congratulate them. They pick up what you put out.
2) yell at your kid or any other kid (either team) & your kid is out.

Watched that game with my Dad. Hadn't watched eagles together in years though we'd talk together after. We cheered, we screamed, we smiled & hugged.
Less than a year later he was suddenly gone. That day is one of my favorite memories!!
