Immigrants are under attack in the #cabudget proposal too! If folks aren't being disenrolled where is the savings coming from @Scott_Wiener? When a premium isn't paid, or if a farm worker is booted for making too much $ for a few months; they lose Medi-Cal and then frozen out!.
CALeg having budget hearings today in shadow of LA protests. Got testy at start of the Senate’s, when Sen. Wiener said immigrant communities are under attack w/ Trump military occupation+ ICE raids. Sen. Seyarto called point of order, “This has nothing to do with budget.”.
