I’m relieved to learn the remaining living hostages kidnapped by the Hamas terrorists have finally been freed. Thank you President Trump for your leadership negotiating this historic agreement and to all who worked to reunite these families.

After 2 years, Israel and Hamas have finally agreed to a ceasefire, including the release of all remaining hostages. This is a key step toward closure for families affected by the brutal October 7th attacks and offers a chance to rebuild and pursue lasting security in the region.

It's great to see the Admin found a solution to fund WIC for our vulnerable women, infants, and children, but we shouldn't be in this situation in the first place. It's past time for a few more Senate Democrats to put country over party and vote for the clean funding extension.

Today marks two years since the brutal October 7th terrorist attack by Hamas. My thoughts are with the families who still grieve their loved ones, and I pray for the safe return of all those who continue to be held hostage.

This week, I toured the St. Brigid's Community Outreach Center in Hanford, which provides food and essential items for free to those in need. I really appreciate the dedication of the volunteers that help strengthen our community and improve lives each day.

I enjoyed my tour of Bakersfield Recovery Services this week. During my visit, I spoke with staff about the different programs they offer and the important service they provide to people struggling with substance abuse disorders in our community. Thanks for showing me around!

I had a productive meeting with the new Hanford Interim City Manager, Chris Tavarez, and Deputy City Manager, Jason Waters. We discussed ongoing community projects and opportunities for federal collaboration. I look forward to continuing to address local priorities together.

This week, I toured Bakersfield Pregnancy Center's new Southwest facility. The center empowers people to make healthy, life-affirming choices when it comes to pregnancy, and I appreciated meeting the dedicated staff that serve our community’s women.

I really enjoyed my visit to Harding Elementary School in Bakersfield. While there, I got to meet with staff and answer questions from members of their student council. Thanks for having me!

I had a great time at this week's @BizFedCV roundtable in Bakersfield! While there, I heard from Central Valley business leaders and discussed federal policies that promote economic growth and workforce development.

I want to thank the Kings Community Action Organization for showing me around their Avenal Head Start location. Head Start plays an incredibly important role in early childhood education, and I always appreciate the opportunity to see that work firsthand.
