It's a shame X is such a difficult environment to connect professionally on or maybe I'm doing it wrong. I've been forced back to LinkedIn as it really is the only place around if you run a B2B small business. I'm actually quite good at data work and presenting it for clients.

I'd rather have Scottish independence over a Reform majority Government in UK. Even an SNP led one. For a short while anyway.

It's really hard to see this as anything other than Government handing cash to manufacturers that won't be passed on to consumers. EVs were already available at healthy discounts. Will this example now be £4k cheaper. Or will discount now be picked up by Government instead.
£650 million subsidies for new EV buyers is’t a good look after winter fuel payments and Welfare Bill disasters. Most will go to Chinese car makers rather than domestic auto industry. There were many other policy changes govt could have done to drive EV demand rather than tax.

Not just about the heat either. We don't have infrastructure able to cope with moderate change. When you look at some recent storms and the power of them and damage just another 10mph stronger winds , huge parts of the country will simply be destroyed.

Exactly. If they can do it for this it's just a small step to protesting benefit cuts, tax increases basically any Government policy. A t shirt never killed antone. This is now a direct attack on freedom of protest and expression.

I don't think people realise this at all. Motability is a good scheme. You can get a basic car and pay nothing or pay more for something nicer if you're working (and paying tax).
1. By working:. C is a wheelchair user with lower limb immobility due to spins bifida. C works as an HR manager for a legal firm, earning gross £35k. C has to have a wheelchair adapted vehicle to drive to her job in a city 50 mins away from her home. Reliability is crucial. ….

Completely agree here. Some comments from the left on this have been very poor.
@cturnbull1968 Have to say that I agree with MAGA Mom. Some of the comments I've seen from so called "progressives" on this have been very gross. First, Texas has a diverse voting population. Some people voted for Republicans, some voted for Democrats. I'm sure many voted third party and many.
