When you drive down a hill and not only have you not burnt any petrol and not worn away brake pads but you’ve gained energy back. As a petrol/diesel car driver, imagine the glee you’d have if you drove 1 mile down a hill and got a litre of free petrol more at the bottom.

As expected Model Y Standard launches in Europe built in Berlin. This surely means a UK version is inevitable (hopefully under the luxury road tax avoiding £40k)

So can someone tell me how I activate JUST cruise control. I do have option for “press twice for autopilot” like I used to use. I do not want to turn autopilot off because I will want it sometimes and car has to be parked to re-enable. What am I missing to just enable cruise?

1 hour into owning… first impressions; Yep, of course smoother than before. Was expecting Hankook tyres but they seem to be Conti’s now. They seem quiet enough. Heat reflective roof glass now - yep, good for follically challenged like me. Interior feels good and premium.

Y LR RWD, the pick of the bunch for my needs 👌 MYP was a bit tempting but a Y doesn’t need to be that fast or £10k more, plus some of the offers run out tomorrow in theory!
