@madsanchez09 I read the original text of huck finn in school. Why is that a problem?. Since I speak and understand Japanese fluently, it is painful to read translations and subtitles that are exactly NOT what the original text or voice actors said.

@GearoidReidy I get that localization needs to ensure that the foreign consumer can understand it, but too often recently, messaging being changed, or foreign-market relevant โjokesโ has been added to the subtitles or dubs. Thatโs where itโs a problem.
