It's actually been a pretty great experience. It's objectively better - snappier interface and personalizable UX with custom feeds (my favs so far are Mutuals and Popular With Friends) which are game-changers. Artists are popping up now, too, so I hope everyone just migrates over

I think the biggest example of this might be Vento Aureo. Public opinion on that flipped entirely after it got an anime adaptation (meaning it finally got a professional TL!) because the only thing people had for years was some shitty scanlation.
I always thought One Piece was overrated because middle school me read shitty scanlations. I then bought a Shonen Jump sub ($3 A MONTH IT'S A FUCKING STEAL), and it was like reading a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MANGA. It's insane how much better shit is when you have good, paid TLs.

The way they've adapted everything is absolutely perfect. Besides the characters being on point, the way they presented some of the craziest stuff like the red text is genius. It's a surprise to no one, but Umineko fits the stage play format like it was made for it.
