Chennai test 1999.
India vs Pakistan after years of break. Low scoring 1st innings, Afridi's 141, Pakistan collapse, Ganguly's wrong out, Sachin's masterclass, and then Saqlain and Wasim turning it around. And when you thought you had everything, Chennai crowd giving SO to PCT!
A first author publication is always cool 😎

About time we start valuing people who do amazing work, without publishing papers. My best teachers, who have taught me medicine and wisdom behind it, have little to no publications. It is good to be a researcher, but it is essential to be a good physician!
Dr. Tefferi's advice is so REFRESHING and AUTHENTIC
Some pearls:
⭐️Seek joy within yourself and in the care you provide- not your peers
⭐️Heavy clinical work (not 0.1 OR 0.2. FTE) during first years after fellowship is how to become a good doctor

Thats true. Far too many people simply read out ppt’s as if they are newsreaders. Such classes are pointless. The student doesnt get a practical viewpoint
While the medical students in US want to contribute to science, the posts from KE or AIMC are so depressing. Our medical schools take the best and convert them to depressed, robotic, non-critical machine beings.
How can we change that?!

Ivermectin came as to relieve so many people who had been undone by Oncocercosis. So did vaccines for population vulnerable to severe COVID. Has anyone even asked to use ivermectin for heart attack, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure? Covid, similarly, needs its own drugs.
