Thrilled to see our TinyRNN paper in @nature! We show how tiny RNNs predict choices of individual subjects accurately while staying fully interpretable. This approach can transform how we model cognitive processes in both healthy and disordered decisions.

Excited to see our Centaur project out in @Nature. TL;DR: Centaur is a computational model that predicts and simulates human behavior for any experiment described in natural language.

New short-form preprint in which we use Centaur to identify gaps in interpretable cognitive models and revise them accordingly using Qwen3 -- fully automated and without a human-in-the-loop. https://t.co/z1GoaGNFWT

Our paper is now out in Nature Human Behaviour! 🎉 We use games from behavioural economics to explore how LLMs behave in repeated social interactions, revealing both self-interested strengths and coordination blind spots, and propose strategies to improve AI-human collaboration.

We are looking for two PhD students at our institute in Munich. Both postions are open-topic, so anything between cognitive science and machine learning is possible. More information: https://t.co/wBE0mau7p3 Feel free to share broadly!

Not one, but TWO cool preprints by @JenniferSenta! First preprint (with @Anne_On_Tw, Peter Dayan and Sonia Bishop) has a really cool use of modeling aimed at dissociating mechanisms underlying depression and anxiety-related phenotypes: https://t.co/MoYvzbQN9g

The protest movement in Serbia is remarkably leaderless. Serbian students are the driving force behind the protests, but there is not a single name that could be clearly associated with leading the protests. A thread on Serbia. ⬇️

We are currently building the largest, cross-domain data set of human behavior as part of an open collaborative project. Contributions of any form are welcome, but especially experiments with meta-data from developmental, cross-cultural, or clinical studies.

Centaur now has its own webpage ( https://t.co/a6Rzo2KcfO) where we answer some frequently asked questions. Importantly, we have trained a small version of the model that can be used for quick prototyping: https://t.co/oyCQqyfsLo Logo credits to @milenamr7
